Krystalix: The single crystal revolution at your fingertips
Founded in May 2024 on the Saint-Martin-d'Hères campus , Krystalix is one of the startups redefining microelectronics. Specializing in the design of ultrapure single crystals for high-precision applications, it has attracted attention in record time. Its main innovation lies in a magnetic cold crucible that makes it possible to produce these single crystals at a lower cost while improving their durability.
This process offers two major advantages: a virtually unlimited lifespan for components and a significant reduction in manufacturing time . The result: faster, greener, and more economical production, which represents a real breakthrough for the microelectronics sector, particularly in the fields of lasers, detectors, and integrated circuits. The seven-person team, led by Kader Zaidat, has proven that it is possible to combine innovation and efficiency in a demanding sector.
Technological or process innovation
Krystalix has designed a magnetic cold crucible that reduces energy consumption and pollutant emissions. It allows for the production of high-quality single crystals at a lower cost, with a virtually unlimited lifespan, thus offering a more cost-effective solution.
